Those special events bring something exciting to look forward too and something new from the daily routine. My mom always took the time to make those days special and they are some of the best childhood memories. But, then again like you said I guess we have something to celebrate everyday! "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Ps. 118:24 I can never understand those that don’t get into holidays or birthdays.
