Tag!
I have been tagged by my sis-in-laws Erika AND Kristy!
Here are the tagging rules:
1. Post the rules on your blog
2. Write 6 random things about yourself
3. Tag 6 people at the end of your post
4. If you are tagged, DO IT and pass it along
(I normally hate this stuff but agree that it can be considered a good blog post. Just don’t email me one of these or I’ll NEVER do it!)
So here goes nothing:
1. Whenever I am asked to share a random thing about myself or a most embarrassing moment, I always blank out and feel like I have nothing to say. It seriously takes me forever and I always remember something good later. I’ve been staring at my screen for over 5 minutes and this is all I have come up with so far. Sad.
2. I’m an internal processor and usually am constantly thinking while others are speaking or while I’m talking myself. But, my facial expressions confuse people because my facial muscles get confused and don’t know whether to respond to the person I’m listening to, what I’m saying, or what I’m thinking about so I end up looking rather contorted sometimes. Not good. I really should work on that.
3. I’ve never dyed my hair, I don’t like to shop, and am not a big fan of the color pink. To most women, I guess I’m weird. Or should I say, most U.S. or Western women.
4. I’m pregnant. There, I said it on my blog! I’m working on my official announcement post but I want a belly pic and it hasn’t happened yet…and I have a lot to say about it. For those of you who have been hounding me to post this, thanks for the encouragement. However, there are still people who I haven’t gotten to tell in person yet who I didn’t want to find out on my blog. So I’m caving because I don’t know when I’ll get to tell them.
5. I decided that since I’m a logical, chronological, orderly thinker that I would really value reading the Bible in chronological order. So, I started it about two months ago and love it! I’ve read Genesis, Job and am in the middle of Exodus. That’s right, Job happened before Exodus. Now, how many of you really knew that (excluding all you seminary folks!)? Check out www.backtothebible.org if you’re interested in downloading a reading guide.
6. I decided to go ahead and complete the 6 things but I already did a super long post of 100!!!! yes, 100 things about me last summer. Granted, some of them are out of date now, but you can get a much better picture of random things about me…and a good laugh. Plus, it is almost 1 year ago to the day…strange. Check it out: The List
I tag:
1. Emily – Because this is basically how you got into blogging in the first place.
2. Micahl – Since you started back into blogging…yay!
3. Andréa – Since you need to start blogging again
4. Sarah – Since you haven’t blogged since May and I don’t know what’s going on in your world
5. Crystal – Because I know you read my blog and I want something to read on yours
6. Brooke – I always love reading your thoughts

Hooray for posting and hooray for the baby. When is your sonogram? Isn’t it soon?
EMILY!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!! What wonderful news. I’m so excited for you and Daniel–you will be incredibly gifted parents.
Would you mind emailing when you have a chance? I seem to have, um…misplaced your email address again. Thank the Lord for blogs!
